This is really something the dieting industry will never tell you simply because it would stop you buy the lotions and potions, pills and exercise machines, and gym memberships. Read the rest of this entry »
I love motivational speakers
I spent the weekend at an awesome seminar.
The guru in question was an Ozzie guy called Wilson Luna, somebody I’d never even heard of until Friday morning when I received an email from someone whom I not even sure I know inviting me along to his 2 day free workshop Millionaire Incubator Workshop
Wow – and again – wowowowowow …….
After all isn’t that what we do this time of year – sow seeds – to make flowers, vegetables, and fruit We water the seeds and watch the fruits of our labours grow So isn’t it the same with thoughts, ideas, beliefs. Read the rest of this entry »
My late mother’s last remaining sister and sibling.
It was very sad. it affected me far more than I had thought it would
My aunt had lived in the States for all of my life, marrying a GI during the second world war.
Sadly he died but she married again and had one child, my cousin who is like a sister to me.
My aunt wanted to be buried back here in the UK with her other sister and my grandmother and so my cousin shipped her body back.
We’re Jewish and the amount of red tape involved, despite this having been arranged many years ago was incredible.
However it was finally all sorted out and my aunt was laid to rest yesterday right near her mother and sister.
After the actual burial, the Rabbi spoke and it was this that I want to tell you
It’s Passover in a short while and he talked about the plate, the symbolic plate, that we have at our first and second night ‘meals’ (it’s a wonderful get together of friends and family and prayers and songs and fun.
So the Rabbi spoke about the symbolic plate which has on it amongst other things, an egg, bitter herbs, a sweet paste called charoset (made up of apples, wine, nuts, cinnamon).
He said that the plate was like the circle of life ; the egg symbolising birth and new beginnings, the bitter herbs could be death, or the trials and tribulations, the sadnesses and obstacles we have in our lives, and the charoset is the sweetness of people who visit us in our mourning and bring food and lightness with them. It’s the laughter, the good times .
And so I wanted to share it with you, those of you who follow me, those of you who read me, to say that life is oh too short and we must live each day, really live it, be who we truly are, love a lot, laugh a lot and most importantly never regret.
We are all born and we all die – whatever comes in the middle is of our own making.
Live in the Now
Enjoy the sunshine
Make time for your kids, your family, your friends, for fun – no amount of work is worth the missing a child’s first step or word, a joke shared with good friends.
Nobody ever lays on their deathbed wishing they’d worked more
Have wonderful day
Have a wonderful life – and please make each day count
Are you sick and tired of obsessing about dieting?
Does spending 25 minutes in the morning finding something to wear stress you out?
Do you then end up putting on the ‘only’ thing you feel is ok because you’re running late?
and who needs that at the beginning of the day, right?
Have you got clothes in your wardrobe you can’t fit into?
Do you make excuses not to go out with friends because getting ready is too much stress, too much effort?
Do you shy away from having sex because you can’t bear the thought of someone seeing you naked?
Do you hate what you see in the mirror?
Are you tired of feeling this way?
Maybe you’re not even that big but you’ve spent so long thinking you are it’s kind of taken over your life – although of course you haven’t let on to friends and family about it – I mean they wouldn’t understand would they? So it’s a ‘secret’ thing of yours. They know you’re ‘careful’ with what you eat, how often you go to the gym but they don’t know the full story.
When was the last time you felt really good about yourself?
What if there was a way to change those thoughts and feelings?
What if there was a way to finally get out of that despair and onto to the road to a slim, healthy, happy you?
I don’t think so – in fact I know it’s not
After suffering for many years from all of the above I found a way to get out of the dieting spiral, feeling self-conscious, hating my body and yes – learning to love myself – so that the weight came off seemingly effortlessly, without trying. No diets, no exercise regime. Just self belief.
I am now passionate about helping other women achieve the same.
You can be the wonderful, amazing, fabulous woman you KNOW deep down is in there.
You can do it
Believe in yourself, change the thought patterns and get on with your life.
I know, believe me how I know, that it is bloody difficult doing it on your own. You need someone to be there for you, someone who can share what you’re going through, someone who will keep you accountable, someone who knows what you are capable of and how magnificent you are – even when you don’t believe it yourself.
I had someone help me – a wonderful woman – who made me see and realise who I was, who I am capable of being.
There is nothing you cannot do – trust me. Nothing you cannot be once you set your heart and mind to it.
To dream the impossible dream – it’s only im possible if you think it is.
Working together I will teach you ways and give you practical tools that you will be able to use for the rest of your life. Your wonderful amazing fabulous life.
You can make it exactly what you want – free from the dieting, the worry, the obsession about how you look.
Imagine a time when you wake in the morning feeling great and knowing that whatever you wear you will look great. Your confidence will soar, your energy levels will increase, your relationships will improve.

I’ll be honest with you, I wasted so much time, energy, and money on stupid diets, pills, gym memberships, exercise equipment over god knows how many years – I think the worst was the time – all that time when I could have been getting on with enjoying myself,
Youknow it was only when I finally ‘gave up’ and found someone to help me that it changed.
I got to a stage where I thought I cannot do this anymore – I didn’t want to be fat, I didn’t want to be feeling like that 24/7, I wanted to give up worrying about the food I ‘should’ eat, the food I ‘shouldn’t’. I wanted to stop hating my body, feeling fat, feeling uncomfortable in my clothes – those that did fit. I wanted to get up in the morning and feel great. Put on something and feel good in it. I wanted to have energy. I wanted to go out with my friends and not feel like I was the ‘fat one’; that I looked as good as them. That the effort I put into getting ready was worth it. So one day I woke up and thought ‘I can’t do this anymore’ and like they say “when the student is ready the teacher will appear”. Mine did.
And I’m yours
My heart goes out to you as I know where you are – what pain you’re in. Hiding it from friends and family. I was there too and I so want to help you.
Don’t spend any more time and energy and money on thinking the next diet will do it.
Don’t waste any more time.
I wish I’d found my ‘teacher’ 20 years earlier –

Sometimes in little ways, sometimes in big big ways – but it keeps happening.
Here’s the thing – every day I get some inspiration from someone, somewhere.
Today it’s been a quote I saw on my Facebook page :
‘The difference between try and triumph… is a good portion of umph”
Great isn’t it?
